"Feature not booked" or "not included in the plan" — what the refusal means

What it is for

A menu item is greyed out, a button refuses, or a connection is refused with a sentence about the licence. BrowserDesk distinguishes precisely: is the feature missing in the model (Free), is it not booked in the access, has the administrator switched it off, does it exist only with an own relay, or are the seats full? The words in the sentence tell you.

What you need

• The exact sentence (or the hint shown when you point at the greyed-out item).
• For remedies: the administrator of your access. Whoever orders for the access can buy.

How to do it

1. Look up the sentence in the table. Instead of "…", the real sentence contains the name of the feature, for example "Schnellcode" (quick code), "Skripte" (scripts), "Leitstand" (control room) or "Ticketsystem" (ticket system).

1. Switched off? The administrator checks. Console → Tenants → open the access (Edit tenant) → tab Features. For each feature it shows whether it is active, booked, but off, not booked or not available, where it comes from and why. Turn on switches a booked feature back on. In the console the access is called "tenant" (G4).

1. Startcenter and remote console: seats full? These two are add-on modules per device. - "Alle Startcenter-Plätze sind belegt, und dieses Gerät hat keinen. …" (all Startcenter seats are taken and this device has none) → buy more seats or reassign a seat (A6, G24). - "Das Startcenter ist für dieses Gerät nicht freigeschaltet. …" (Startcenter is not enabled for this device) → the add-on module is missing (A6). - "Das Startcenter ist im Tarif dieses Zugangs nicht enthalten. …" (not included in this access's plan) → Free has no Startcenter. - "Skripte sind im Tarif dieses Zugangs nicht enthalten." (scripts are not included in this access's plan) → a start button needs scripts; Free does not have them.

1. Control room locked in the program? The locked item says "Funktion „Leitstand“ — Ihr Relay-Betreiber schaltet sie frei …" (your relay operator enables it). That is only true for an own relay. In the cloud the control room is booked per access — the way is then steps 1 and 2 (D8).

1. Just bought or switched on, but still locked? The relay reports changes to the connected devices within a minute. If it stays locked longer: reconnect in the program. If that does not help, write to info@browserdesk.de.

How you know it worked

• The menu item or button is no longer greyed out, the sentence no longer appears.
• In the console the feature shows active in the tab Features.

Good to know

• Free never gets some features — not even by buying a single feature: access without confirmation, inventory, control room, recording, tickets, Startcenter and remote console. They need cloud or an own relay (A1).
• Switching off costs nothing and deletes nothing. A booked but switched-off feature stays paid and can be switched on again at any time.
• After the cloud term expires Free applies — then the Free sentences appear (A9).
