Be connected to several devices at the same time
Every further connection in a window of its own — without disconnecting the first one.

What it is for
You are connected to computer A and briefly need computer B. Instead of disconnecting A, you open a further window with a connection of its own. Both run side by side.
What you need
- The BrowserDesk program on Windows, macOS or Linux. Phones, tablets and TVs do not have this.
- A plan that allows several sessions: Free allows one session at a time.
- For many devices at a glance there is the control room instead (D8).
How to do it
From the session:
- In the session bar, left of "Vollbild" (full screen), click the icon Weitere Verbindung in neuem Fenster (Further connection in a new window).
- A new window "BrowserDesk – weiteres Fenster" (further window) opens with the start page.
- Connect there as usual (D2, D3).
Via a second start: if you start BrowserDesk again (desktop icon, Start menu) while a connection is open, a further window opens as well. Without an open connection the second start only brings the existing window to the front.
How you know it worked
Two windows with one device each. The additional one has "– weiteres Fenster" in its title.
Good to know
- The further window is only for connecting. Your own device settings (card Ihr Desktop — Your desktop, password, reachability) exist only in the first window — the one without the addition in the title.
- Closing ends a further window completely; the first window moves to the notification area when closed.
- The keyboard only acts in the window that is in front.
- Copying: what you copy goes to every connected device — as usual with two viewers.
- Address book and settings are shared by all windows; whoever saves last wins.
- In the control room the right-hand button of the session bar is Zurück zum Leitstand (Back to the control room, orange) instead of Trennen (Disconnect) — the connection stays open.
If it does not work
